SCHMETZ DBx1 SD1 industrial needles are designed for lockstitch sewing machines when sewing leather and other "difficult" materials. SD1 or "Round point with small triangular tip" is a special fine triangular cutting point that makes a smaller incision than typical cutting needles and ensures a straight, neat stitch even in multi-directional sewing (programmable sewing machines).
