Soft, medium-thin stretchy knit fabric (English: Jersey) , it is lightweight, breathable and very pleasant on the skin.

     The knit is easy to care for and doesn't wrinkle. Thanks to a small amount of added elastane,the knit fabric will retain its shape and won't stretch out-preserving the good qualities of cotton.
     Perfectly suited for leisurewear, dresses, children's clothing,t-shirts,sportswear, as well as hats and scarves.

Sewing tips:

To sew cotton jersey, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles if the knit is very elastic then it is recommended to use Super Stretch needles, which are specially made for stretch fabrics. These needles have a rounded point that allows them to easily glide between the knit fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size is usually dependent on the fabric thickness, but for cotton jersey commonly suitable sizes are 70/10 or 80/12.
