This fabric is printed from our own original design, created with great care and attention to detail. Each pattern is made individually, inspired by feelings, stories and ideas that we want to convey through the fabric.
We do not use ready-made mass designs – each pattern is unique and available only from us, so your sewn piece will be truly special.
Cotton looped knit (French Terry) is a soft, comfortable and slightly stretchy fabric that contains elastane.
On one side the fabric is smooth, while the other side has a small looped texture that provides extra comfort and warmth.
This fabric is ideal for sportswear, leisurewear, hats, sweatshirts, trousers and children’s clothing.
Looped knit is breathable and provides natural air circulation, making it a great choice for both cooler and warmer days. A practical and durable fabric with enough stretch for comfortable everyday wear.
Sewing tips:
When sewing with cotton knit, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles if the knit is very elastic, it is recommended to use Super Stretch needles, which are specially designed for stretchy fabrics. These needles have a rounded tip that allows them to glide easily between knit fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size is usually 70/10 or 80/12.
