Viscose fabrics stand out for their pleasant feel on the skin and excellent drape. Viscose fabrics in our shop are woven, lightweight, and have a cooling effect.
Viscose is a naturally derived fiber obtained from cellulose. The best qualities of this fabric are its pleasantly soft texture, easy drape, and relatively low maintenance.
This viscose fabric is most often used for sewing airy clothing, so it is an excellent fabric for making dresses, skirts, blouses, flowy garments, and nightwear. By themselves they are not insulating, which is why they are popular for making summer clothing.
Sewing tips:
When sewing viscose fabric, it is recommended to use microtex needles. Thanks to their especially sharp point, the needle is suitable for high thread count fabrics
