Sweat / jogging knit fabric is a soft, pleasant and elastic fabric for sewing everyday and leisure clothing. Its cotton and polyester composition provides comfort, durability and easy care.

Perfect for sweatshirts, hoodies, sweatpants, tracksuits, children's clothing, dresses and leisurewear.

Sewing tips:

When sewing with cotton knit, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles if the knit is very stretchy, it is recommended to use Super Stretch needles, which are specially designed for elastic fabrics. These needles have a rounded tip, which allows them to glide easily between the knit fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size usually depends on the thickness of the fabric, but for cotton knit the sizes often suitable are 70/10 or 80/12.

-Before sewing, we recommend washing or dampening the fabric and ironing it with a steam iron to check whether the fabric shrinks!
