The elongated shape of the snap makes it especially suitable for collars, sleeves, and trouser hems. Both sides of the roll can be used differently. The white cotton side is more suitable for smooth fabrics and higher temperature settings, while the checkered wool side is for lower temperatures and bulkier, thicker materials.
