How to use the "Embroidery Twin Needle" on a sewing machine

• Activate the twin needle mode or a similar function to limit the stitch width and prevent hitting the needle plate.
• Before starting, make test stitches on a scrap and adjust the tension so that the bobbin thread forms a slight zigzag in the seam.
• In thicker fabric areas, reduce the sewing speed to prevent needle breakage.
• Do not pull or push the fabric while sewing – this can cause uneven stitch length and damage the needle.
• For a smoother, more beautiful seam, use spray starch or attach a water-soluble stabilizer during sewing.

Like a separate embroidery needle, the Embroidery Twin is specially designed for delicate embroidery threads. Thanks to the wider eye and extended thread groove, the thread moves freely without damage. The medium ball point tip protects the fabric, preventing fabric and thread damage.

Compatibility

Fits all standard household sewing machines with zigzag function.

Before sewing

• Insert the needle into the holder as usual; from your viewpoint, the flat shank side faces away from you.
• Use a zigzag needle plate and zigzag presser foot with an opening wide enough for your chosen needle spacing.

Threading

• Each needle requires a separate bobbin thread. If there is no second holder, use the bobbin as the second spool and place it on the holder below the first spool.
• Make sure that both threads unwind in the same direction.
• Guide both threads together through the guides as one, then separate and thread each through its needle eye. If your machine has a special thread separator, follow the manufacturer's instructions.
